Paris: P. Didot the Elder, 1811. Hardcover. G, covers have moderate wear, chipping along spine hinge fromt covers - however still have appeal and could be repaired. Pages have slight toning and foxing. Previous owner's inscription ffep. Text block has gilt edges.. Leather with gilt border and lettering on spine. 2 volumes : illustrations; Pagination: volume 1: [4], 3, [2], vj- cvj, 245, [1] pages; volume 2: [4], 382 pages. Text in French. Aesop's fables. Nicely illustrated. Still has shelf appeal and would be an excellent candidate for repair.
