Pages have slight toning and foxing. Previous owner's inscription ffep. Text block has gilt edges.. Leather with gilt border and lettering on spine. 2 volumes : illustrations; Pagination: volume 1: [4], 3, [2], vj- cvj, 245, [1] pages; volume 2: [4], 382 pages. Text in French. Aesop's fables. Nicely illustrated. Still has shelf appeal and would be an excellent candidate for repair.
