About This Item
1st edition, published by Jonathan Cape in London, 1952. Fair condition. No dust jacket. The spine is worn quite badly along the edges, and has been damaged with a puncture mark near the bottom edge. The hardcover is showing expected fading, and wear and tear from age. Some very slight foxing visible, mainly along the edges of the pages. The binding is still intact. There is a very faint inscription penned by a previous owner on the flyleaf.
