About This Item

New York: W.W.Norton, 1970. Very good- (small water stain at bottom of spine, dusty page top edges) in fair dust jacket (badly sunned spine, small stain on front panel, vigorously price-clipped, chipped at top and bottom of spine, small holes along folds and near spine). Nonetheless, the book is a nice reading copy. Humorously illustrated. "Saint" Venus visits the British welfare state, bringing love and chaos.. 1st American edition. Hard Cover. Illus. by Edward Pagram.
