Else covers are clean and book solidly bound. In these 10 lectures Ruskin addresses young female students and attempts to awaken in them a passion for learning in their chosen subject of study. An interesting theory of Vi ctorian pedagogy but one not likely to find favor today. A much scarcer edition than the London printing of the same year. Good/No Jacket.. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
