Chicago: Callahan & Co, 1882. First Edition. HB. Black cloth, colored illustration of flowers on front cover, gilt lettering on spine, 8vo, ix, 181 pp., black endpapers. From the library of Charles Burke Elliott, noted jurist and one-time member of the Minnesota Supreme Court. With a 2 page handwritten review of this book by Elliott, submitted to the Central Law Journal of St. Louis. There is minor penciled notations in the margins of a few pages. Pages show light moisture stains at top and bottom throughout, not affecting any text. Covers show edge wear, chipping top of spine. Book condition Good+.
