Harmondsworth: Penguin Books, 1947. No dustwrapper (as issued: King Penguin books were only issued with dustwrppers after 1949-50, with a couple of exeptions). Minor bumping to spine ends and corners of boards, a one-inch split to the top right-hand side of the spine, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this slim hard-cover book, number 31 in the publisher's "King Penguin" series. This one looks at book illustration in England in the nineteenth century. 72pp plus 16pp colour and b&w illustrations, 38 b&w illustrations in the text.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
