New edition re-issued 1933, good + red cloth hardcover (no dust jacket) with black letter and decoration to cover and spine shows a previous owner bookplate at top half of front pastedown, light shelf and trace wear and soil to covers, couple of light internal splits and some other very minor trace wear. 143 pages generously illustrated in black & white. Still a solid copy of this social history of Tudor England.
