Revised issue of Beard's classic, published to commemorate his support for a 1977 benefit auction for the International Center of Photography. SIGNED by Beard, as issued, in red crayon to front endpaper. Accompanied by programme for the benefit auction; loose. This copy further accompanied by two silver gelatin prints of Beard's iconic image of a rhinoceros with its front leg noosed (9 x 10.75 in.); one of these photographs inscribed by Beard in year of publication to photographer Jill Krementz: "Dear Jill... despite all the drawbacks, many thanks for coming.
