Black quarter cloth and gray embossed boards withgilt and red lettering to the spine. Red EPs. 424 pp. plus bibliography. SIGNED by Irene Patai on November 8, 1961. Foreword by Andrew C.Ritchie. Frontispiece and 32 pages of photographs. This copy is VG+ , in a VG, unclipped ($6.50) DJ photo of sculpture entitiled " Encounter", courtesy of Otto Gerson Gallery. Exterior is rich. Lettering is bright. Only a few bumps along the bottom edge. Inside has neat PO signature , in pencil, under the author's ( easily erasable). otherwise crisp, unmarked and minimally toned. DJ has moderate rubbing at edges and joints and moderate chipping at spine top and bottom back. Top edges dyed red..
