About This Item
Greenwich Connecticut: Fawcett Publications, Inc. - Gold Medal Books, 1959. First Printing Stated . Mass Market Paperback. Very Good. 190 Pages. Gold Medal # s929. Covers have some light edge wear. Very tight book that may have been re-glued by previous owner. If so it was well done. Pages have just a bare hint of age-tanning. No marks or stamps. He had a brow like Shakespeare, a face like Satan, cat-green eyes that gleamed like emerals. He had the mind of a genius and the cold heart of a serpent. His power and cunning were endless. Nothing could stop him for he was Dr. Fu Manchu. And now he had created the dreaded Cold Men, a living-dead army of bloodless men who were slaves to his every whispered command. His Disguises were many, his powers, supernatural. A sweet woman's voice spoke from the shadows near where Tony lay. Why are you so sad? she asked. You're young and the world is before you. Nothing can stand in your way. Tony watched the beautiful, incredibly graceful blonde girl walk toward him. She slowly sat down next to him and he immediately noticed her astonishing violet eyes. Together, the girl said softly, we could go very far. As Tony looked into the violet eyes, they seemed to turn green; the fair skin became yellowish, dry. He found himself staring into the saturnine face of Dr. Fu Manchu. Arch criminal of the World.
