Bound in cloth-covered boards. Signed, numbered, and dated by the artist. Rebecca Goodale: "In this narrative a unicorn is running away with two of Maine's extirpated species: Lycaeides melissa samulelis ( Karner Blue) a small blue butterfly, which after a long absence has recently been sighted in southwestern Maine and Aletris farinosa (unicorn root) a plant that has not been seen here for over a hundred years."
