Small area of discoloration in left margin, couple of small spots, overall very good condition. A striking image of what is now known as Micrurus nigrocinctus nigrocinctus or the Central American coral snake; the print was published in 1855 as Plate XXXV in the report of the United States Naval Astronomical Survey to the Southern Hemisphere. .
