Marbled endpapers and pastedowns. Title page printed in red and black. Illustrated by a frontispiece. Essays selected and annotated by Austin Dobson, taken and reprinted from The Spectator and The Tattler, famous eighteenth-century literary magazines. Minor rubbing to the extremities, a 1926 name on the first blank leaf.
