Letter from the Society laid in. Fine. Edward Harris (1799-1863) was a lifelong resident of Moorestown in southwestern New Jersey. He specialized in ornithology, geology, and zoology, was a friend of Audubon, and papers of his were published by the Academy of Natural Sciences and the Smithsonian Institution.
