London: Seeley, Service & Co., 1912. First Edition Thus . Hardcover. Good. James heron. Hardback. 4to. This is no. 25 of 385 copies on hand-made paper. A good plus copy in the original boards which are a little faded and marked on the spine. Paper title label on spine rubbed but another copy is tipped-in at the end of the book. Top edge gilt. Very good internally. No ownership inscription and not foxed. 208 pages. 24 tipped-in and tissue-guarded colour plates by James Heron. A nice edition of this homage by Stevenson to his home city.

Blacket Books is the business name of Liz and Ian Laing, who have been selling second-hand and antiquarian books since 1985. We are general booksellers but with some emphasis on Scottish, military and childrens books, and modern first editions.
