This work incorporates important photographic documentation of the most beautiful or the most typical examples of all kinds of furniture of that period. It contains more than a thousand references devoted to french ebenistes of the eighteenth century. The furniture makers and their marks, each with a short biography and in alphabetical order. Bound in full blue cloth, paper labels printed in black to upper board and spine, minor spots of rubbing. A very nice copy.
