Undated edition of the widely read dramatic novel first published in 1861. 589pp illiustrated with black and white portrait of the author to frontis and decorative border to title page. Gilt title and five bands to spine, brown endpapers, top edges tinted. Slight bumping to spine and corners, right hinge starting to pull and some marking to edges, otherwise good copy with no inscriptions..
