Small 8vo. 59 pp. Green string tied wrappers with gilt lettering to front cover in very good condition (much of the cover has faded to brown; string tie has separated but still holding the covers & text together). An unusual title; no copies located in the market and only 2 copies located in online institutions. William J. Stack, a graduate of Santa Cruz High School and Stanford University, acted in Shakespeare plays in London for 15 years. In 1929, he played in "The Queen Was in the Parlor" with Pauline Fredericks. Stack also play in "The Marquise" starring Billie Burke. In this collection of poems, his "first effort", he writes of the nature, seasons and beauties of Santa Cruz, California.
