New York: Scribner's, 1922. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Original gilt decorated brown cloth. First American edition from the sheets of the British edition. Early wares being before the Ming dynasty. Very good condition with some foxing throughout. Abridged edition of 1924 leaves out the technical material.
