New York: Doubleday and McClure Company, 1899 FIRST AMERICAN EDITION. Good Condition. Hardback book 6 1/2" tall, bound in light grey decorative cloth with scene of an elephent in the jungle on both front and back boards. Some soiling on lower corners of front/back boards. Back two fly pages soiled in lower corner edge only. Spine slightly faded with some wear on top of spine. Binding and hinges very strong. Owners name plate on inside of front board. 114 pages, page 102's corner was folded at one time, printed in large type on laid paper. Title page has red lettering and stamped diamond design. GOOD TIGHT BOOK
