Type: Hardback Hardcover Book in Good Condition, in a Slipcase in Fair Condition. 9" x 9 1/2" tall. 140 pages. The drawings of noted Flemish and Dutch artists such as Peter Paul Rubens, Anthony van Dyck, Rembrandt van Rijn and many others, from the 15th Century through to the 18th century. Dozens of plates, bearing color, black & white and sepia-toned examples of these works. --- In full ivory cloth-covered boards with black titles to front and spine. light wear to spine head/heel, spine is reinforced with tape. Inner hinge cracked, back strap loose from crash. Binding remains tight. Interior very clean and unmarked. Explanatory text of the art of the time period, illustrations of the artists and figures in the text, and plates of the artwork of these artists, which is what most of the book consists of. Ninety-eight beautiful full page plates. Olive-green paper-covered slipcases; open edges are all rubbed through, edges are all tape-reinforced. It is solid and clean. .
