First Edition as listed inside through this title. 204 pp. Text ivory, clean, unmarked with no prior owner attribution. Small worm hole on bottom edge extends 1/2 inch, but does not reach text. Top edge tinted green. Spine is sunned. Cover shows wear from use. Green and white art drawings on front and back free endpapers and pastedowns. Illustrated b/w drawing frontispiece by Nat Falk. Victor Appleton was a house pseudonym used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate and its successors, most famous for being associated with the Don Sturdy and Tom Swift series of books.
