The plates are marked proof and are printed on india paper. This is a Large Paper copy - as noted on the lettering label to the spine - Large Paper 75 copies and the price of six Guineas. In the original cloth covered boards, spine has been relaid, but retaining most of the original and the original lettering label. New end papers. Bookplate of John L Marks. Occasional spotting to pages. Plate 5 of Hell mouth is vividly hand coloured. There is an additional plate, a portrait of Thomas Sharp among the preliminary pages..
