LACKS HALF TITLE AS OFTEN. 4to bound in eights, approximately 285 x 170 mm, 11 x 7 inches, 20 wood cuts of varying sizes, decorated initials, pages: [16], 1-292, [12] Contents; title page for second part, 1-72, [2] final contents leaf at end is a very good FACSIMILE, bound in full modern mottled calf, panelled in blind, gilt lettering and decoration to spine, with gilt date at foot, marbled endpapers, housed in a repaired dark blue drop down cloth box, bookplate to first pastedown of Charles N. Dietz, President of the Omaha Public Library Board from 1912 to 1930. Binding slightly rubbed, top edge and corner of title page has a brown stain and a neat repair on blank side, three leaves, 56, 71 & 161 have a small hole, on 56 affecting 1 word on verso, on 71 just touching letters but no loss, on 161 affecting 1 letter, all easily understood, several small brown spots, occasional pale staining, a small closed tear to a few margins, nowhere near text, last page 192 has narrow repairs to top and bottom edges, facsimile Contents page to last part as already mentioned, otherwise a very good copy. PAGE 194 MENTIONS THE MAKING OF A FLICK BOOK OR BLOW BOOK, (see attached image).
