First Collins White Circle edition # 300 of the thirteen novel in the Roderick Alleyn series. There is a 1/2 inch deep by 1/4 inch wide chunk of paper missing from the top rear corner of the spine. Light reading creases to the cover. Bottom outside corner of pages 31 to 45 were dog eared. In good condition.
Synopsis
Died in the Wool is a detective novel by Ngaio Marsh; it is the thirteenth novel to feature Roderick Alleyn, and was first published in 1945. The novel concerns the murder of a New Zealand parliamentarian on a remote sheep farm, said to be located near Mount Cook. Like the previous novel in the series the story takes place during World War II with Alleyn doing counterespionage work.
