New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1982. Later printing. Hardcover. Very Good/good. 336 pages, illustrated with black and white photo section. The story of the wild daughter of the Duke of Rutland who married the diplomat Duff Cooper, knew many of the social, musical and stage stars of the day and worked as an actress in British films. Black quarter cloth over black boards, blindstamped title on front cover and silver titles on spine. Very light edge wear, a little spotting, corners and spine ends barely bumped, interior pages bright, binding tight. Illustrated pink dust jacket with white titles on front cover and spine shows a little edge wear with some curling at edges, light creases, minor spotting and scuffs on back, inner fold shows some creasing and tanning at edges, not price clipped.
