About This Item
London: Balliere, Tindall and Cox, 1949. Boards. Very Good +/Very Good. The 1949 1st edition of this uncommon post-War examination of the design and equipment of hospitals. Clean and VG+ in its navy-blue boards, with bright gilt-titling along the spine. And in a crisp, VG to VG+ dustjacket, with neatly-applied clear tape inconspicuously reinforcing the inside of the dustjacket and several closed tears along the panel edges. Thick quarto, 50 crisp black-and-white plates and 177 figures (mostly hospital plans) complementing Ronald Ward's text.
