About This Item
New York: Liveright, 1933. First American edition. 8vo, 298pp. A very good copy, the spine a bit sunned in the original orange publisher's cloth with the the front panel and inside flap of the rare dust jacket loosely laid in. Black and gold title band. The jacket misprinted and reads "Death In The Wood" on both the front panel and the inside flap. Overall, a very nice square, tight copy. A notable highspot and rarity of 20th Century literature. As Liveright declared bankruptcy, most of the books were either pulped or sold off, making copies extremely rare.
