About This Item
New York:: Liveright,, [1933]. First edition; inscribed by the author on the front endpaper.. Publisher's cloth in dust jacket.. Very near fine in a jacket with some minor internal tissue repairs. The spine is lightly soiled, and has some minor chipping and use to the top of the spine, not affecting the lettering. An attractive copy of a rare book in jacket.. 8vo.. This book, like its sibling Miss Lonelyhearts, by Nathanael West, is, by reason of Liveright's threatened bankruptcy, and the printer's refusal to release the sheets, one of the most difficult 20th Century highspots to obtain in jacket.
