About This Item
2013 hardcover as pictured. This is a wonderful book following the life of Nannie Figgat nee Godwin through the late 19th and early 20th centuries using her letters, diary and recipe book to document life in Fincastle, Virginia. Includes many photographs and illustrations as well as a number of mid nineteenth century recipies. Binding is firm. Head and tail bands. Pictorial boards are clean and unmarked. Printed endpapers. Signed by both editors on half title page. Text appears clean and unmarked. Dust jacket lightly rubbed. Would be as very good except for minimal shelf wear. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s OD3
