New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1946. First Edition. Fine/Good+. First edition, first printing, in original jacket in a clear protective sheet. Jacket is unclipped with $2.00 price and some wear to the edges, a few creases, and chipping near head and tail of spine. Black cloth over boards with a silver "Red Badge Detective" seal on the front and silver lettering to spine. Overall near fine condition, very slight rubbing to lower portion of front seal, otherwise all is bright and tight with strong corners. Interior is very slightly toned, otherwise fine, clean, clear and nearly in unread condition. Mirrors film noir and gothic motifs.
