Quarto, 19cm x 15cm Collates complete [8], 352pp. New endpapers. The first few quires are rather dusty and marked, but the margins are good. There are marks, especially margainal, throughout the text. Extremities of the pages are sometimes folded or rubbed, not affecting text. New full leather with blind stamped boards and a slightly sunned spine, over raised bands, red label. This is the only edition of this work and there are no auction records.

John Day (1566-1628) was a divine and son of John Day, the renowned printer. He was a Fellow of Oriel College, Oxford which might explain why 5 of the UK's 10 versions are held at Oxford, including Oriel.
