New York: Doubleday, Doran, 1950 Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). 1st Edition. The book is in black cloth with green stamping on the spine and a green top stain. It is clean and tight with the only defects being rounded spine ends and two bumped corners at the top. The jacket is clean with no fading and is not price clipped with the original price od $2.50 still in the top/right corner of the front flap. It is lightly chipped at the top and bottom of the spine and the top of the front flap fold. Around the chips are crease lines. The book is signed and dated (1950) on the half title page. It also has a book plate affixed to the free end paper with the original signature of Howard Pease..
