J & A Churchill. London. 1879 second edition.. Hardback, 8.5 x 5 inches. In dark olive-grey cloth covers with gilt to spine and illustrated front. In very good condition. Slight browning to endpapers with inscription and bookplate to front. Front hinge has old repair. Relevant paper clipping loose in front. Unpaginated but approx 120 pp. with 24 pp cat. With parti-coloured diagrams. The author points out defects to be found in houses, which are detrimental to health. Building regulations, have changed a great deal since.
