About This Item
London: Bloomsbury, 2003. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Signed by Author. First UK Edition. A fine copy in like D/W. Signed by the Author on the title page. On the adjacent page the illustrator (Annie Morris) has drawn, in gre en marker pen, an illustration of a woman holding two birds. Around the illustration she has written in red marker pen: FOR AMANDA WITH LOTS OF LOVE X ANNIE. Scarce with these attributes. Sophie Dahl is, of course, the model and grand-daughter of Roald Dahl, the famous childrens author. A charming modern fairy tale of love in the form of a picture book for adults. First book (with the silk page saver).
