London: The Daily Graphic, 1915. First Edition . Full calf. Very Good. Elephant Folio - over 15" - 23" tall. 1915 First Edition. Size Elephant Folio, each issue inside separately paginated. Full burgundy calf binding with gilt titles to the spine. Condition very good, corners, hinges and spine ends rubbed, contents slightly age toned but very clean throughout. Bound issues of the Daily Graphic newspaper from May 1st to July 31st 1915, as the Great War ravaged on. 16 pages per issue. 92 issues bound in 1 volume, around 1472 pages. A fascinating insight into the First World War, including events on the battlefields each day, goings on at home and in Europe, and the feelings of the British people, attempts to keep up the spirits, stories of Bravery and Heroism on the Battlefield, information about missing soldiers or soldiers who have died. A Complete run, no missing issues, no articles or photographs have been removed, an excellent record of a very important time in our history.
