New York: The New York Times, 1924. Quarto, periodical bound in printed wrappers. Contains a contempory account of of the discovery of the Tomb of King Tut-enkh-Amon, with an intorduction by Howard Carter. among other articles. Special 16 page section containing 24 brillant color plates extant. Several contemporary news clipping regarding the discovery also laid in. Paper backstrip torn and lacking top 2 inches of spine. Front wrapper reattached with clear tape to spine, and showing light edge-wear. Else solidly bound with all pages firmly attached and interior clean. A very scarce contemporary report of the major Egyptian archeological find of the 20th century. Good. Soft Cover. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
