The Thames Publishing Company, London, No date. Edition Unstated. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: J. E. McConnell. The colour frontispiece, and four other full-page illustrations by Jas. E. McConnell. 1/4 Green coloured cloth covered back strip with black coloured titles. 3/4 colour illustrated panels with white and red coloured titles to the back strip. The second Biggles novel, first published in 1933, and it deals with Biggles adventures in the interwar years in South America. Softening and rubbing to the back strip edges with Chipping, with the underlying board visible to the corners. Very noticeable rubbing of the book edges and a little too the panels. Foxing can be seen along with fading of the back strip. Tanning and foxing of the text block edges and pages more noticeable to the first few and last few pages of the book.
