New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1924. Hardcover. Small 4to. Grey cloth with black lettering and brown front board pictorial stamping. xvii, 217pp. Frontispiece, full page and small line drawings. Near fine. 1924 ownership signature on front flyleaf. Tight and quite nice first edition of the Canadian-American artist and cowpoke's first book -- definitely, as Howes calls it, "First and best of his many books." Lacks dust jacket, else quite lovely. HOWES J 55. RAMPAGING HERD 1153.
