New York: Cosmopolitan Art Association, 1860. Hardcover. Fair only, spine damaged with loss and covers off. 3/4 leather with dark green cloth. Marbled endpapers. Contains Volume 4 issues 1-4, with 4 steel engravings, followed by Volume 5, Issue 1 with 1 steel engraving. Then, the BONUS!. 201 pp. and a ten-page supplement of Award winners after the first issue of Volume 4. A great copy of Volume 4 with the ten-page winners Supplement. All steel engravings have some degree of foxing. After the Cosmopolitan Art Journal issues, there is bound-in a complete copy of "Gems of Beauty, by E.T. Parris and Prose by The Countess of Blessington, with 12 steel engravings (some colored) and dated 1836. These engravings are also foxed or soiled.
