About This Item

COSAW (Congress of South African Writers), 1988. Second Edition. Softcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 71 pages (complete). A most pleasing copy. The Reading Session of 17 July 1988 was the first, and one of great importance in the history and progress of resistance/ liberation writing in South Africa. It was a focussed intention to reassert and reframe radical creativity. The booklet ends with the word for 'Nkosi Sikelele Africa - the liberation Anthem which was, at the time, banned by the apartheid regime. The yellow covers are dramatic, clean, healthy. The contents are most pleasing. They are bright, very clean and clear, confident, certain, eager, energetic. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
