London: Otto Limited, 1902. Leather. Very Good. 11" by 9". None. The Connoisseur is a fine art publication and famous collectors' magazine lavishly illustrated with full page plates. Includes articles on art, coins, stamps, literature, silver, engravings, gems, musical instruments, pottery and interesting anecdotes on Leather bound volume with gilt title to the spine, marble front and end papers and many plates and illustrations. Please note this is Volume 1 only. In a half calf binding with cloth covered boards. There is some wear to the extremities including scratches to the leather and bumping to the corners. The binding is generally tight and firm with both covers and all pages securely attached. There are some pencil notations on a few pages. There is a tear to the cardboard page on which one of the plates is mounted but it does not affect the plate. One of the tissue papers protecting a plate is slightly creased. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
