Includes two mounted leaves of Hubbard's original pencil manuscript (on Jonathan Swift) bound in Volume I. 10 volumes, complete as issued 1908-1911 (the set continued to a further 10 volumes through 1915). Beauifully bound in heavy blue and brown crushed morocco (5 blue, 5 brown - as issued), spines with raised bands, spines and covers decorated in gilt and blind, top edges gilt (minor rubbing). A striking set of these beatiful quarto bindings. Illustrated throught; each chapter opens with one of Dard Hunter's stunning initial letters, used here to their best effect in any Roycroft work.
