Top edge gilt, foredge of pages rough cut, color frontispiece with tissue guard by Thomas Blinks, fully illustrated with practical drawings and diagrams and with many illustrations in half-tone, 360 pages. Text in two parts, Shore Shooting part one, Punt Shooting part two. Chapters on guns, the gun room, the law, dogs, shore shooting-hutting, working longshore, calling, decoys, migration and movements, Punt Shooting as a sport, punt-guns, accessories, dangers, muzzle-loading and breach-loading punt guns, punt carriages, wagons and houses, sailing craft and motor-punts. Large section at rear on the birds with illustrations.
