Thomas Tegg,, 1826. 2 vols. in 1., 16mo., Second Tegg Edition, with an engraved frontispiece [of 2], 2 engraved title-vignettes, and 30 woodcut illustrations (the majority of fish) in the text, endpapers lightly age-stained; strongly bound in nineteenth-century full speckled calf, sides with gilt frame border, very neatly rebacked in calf to style, back with four raised bands, second compartment with red leather label ruled and lettered in gilt, all other compartments ruled in gilt, a very good, bright, crisp copy. WITH THE EIGHTEENTH-CENTURY ENGRAVED ARMORIAL BOOKPLATE OF RICHARD BRINSLEY SHERIDAN [NOT THE PLAYWRIGHT] ON FRONT PASTE-DOWN. Includes the lives of the authors. A reprint of the 1797 Hawkins edition with neat woodcuts designed by W. Harvey and engraved by Williams and Thompson. Tragically, this copy wants the engraved frontispiece to Part I. Coigney 22; Horne 33, Westwood & Satchell p.226.
