NO owner's name or bookplate. NOT a library discard. Pages are crisp, clean and unmarked - obviously never read. 1971. Third Edition, Revised and Updated. The best guide to GEOGRAPHIC books, magazines, ephemera rarities, 100 best special numbers, maps, etc. Gives details on reprints, values, preservation, GEOGRAPHICS as an investment, etc. Illustrated with 26 plates. Laid in is a copy of a long well illustrated article from AB Bookman's Weekly (January 6, 1986) entitled "Still Getting a Kick Out of It: 50 Years of Dealing in National Geographics" by Kevin Kiddow. The article gives a history of how Buxbaum became the world's foremost expert on the subject, and includes a full page ad from him still wanting to buy the rarest issues. Also laid-in is a copy of an another article from AB Bookman's Weekly (April 19, 1966) entitled: "One Thousand National Geographics" by Edwin C. Buxbaum.
