Blanche Huleatt Carpenter. 10 volumes, full contemporary calf, triple line gilt border, gilt decorated spine, contrasting leather spine label, inside dentelles, marbled endapers. speckled edges, engraved frontispieces, folding world map bound in first volume. Bon état. plein cuir. Moderate wear and some joints tender and splitting, all holding, several spine labels missing or partially missing. Text is clean and sound, and text block is tight, folding map very good, each volume (except vol.10) contains a highly detailed engraved frontispiece of an active event related in the narrative. This set includes the extra 10th volume which deals with France's colonies, subtitled "Voyages intéressans dans différnentes colonies Françaises, Espagnoles, Anglaises, &c.
