Large, sturdy book, dark blue covers, silver lettering bright on spine, light blue background inside covers and adjacent end papers with Thurber illustrations, 263 lightly browned pages plus brief biographical notes, illustrations throughout. DJ glossy gray background, a white circle with blue Thurber illustration at top front, in red at center back, praise on back from Russell Baker,Clifton Fadiman, Garrison Keillor. DJ has very light crease at top front, tiny dent at bottom front edge, a tiny tear and 1/4" tear with slight wear at top back edge. Good DJ/Fine book.
