(1st) Large book, black cloth, gilt author and silver title bright on front and spine, in black felt-tip pen across first front end paper: "With every best wish, Jerzy Kosinski." 248 lightly browned pages plus quotation from Dostoevsky and brief biographical note. Light foxing inside back cover and exterior page edges. DJ has white background slightly soiled, color-illustration of painting by Jan Leberstein on front, b/w photo with sticker from Kroch's and Brentano's at bottom back. DJ has tiny tears to front and back top edges. Near Good DJ/Very Fine book. For appearance's sake, covered with DJ from Book Club edition beneath mylar, microtears at spine top edge. Near Very Fine DJ/Very Fine book.
