First edition. *The third and final volume of Freya Stark's autobiography, describing her travels in Egypt, the Persian Gulf, South Arabia, two journeys to the Valley of Hadhramaut, and her nearly fatal illness in the Shibam. The decorations are by Reynolds Stone; the sketch map is by H. W. Hawes.
